Press Release: Fall 2022 Zoya Cafe Creams & Metallic Dreams

It's happening. Fall is peeking its eyes around the corner, even in this heat. I hear the rustling in the distance and smell the pumpkin spice.

Some beautiful fall collections are popping up, and they are nailing it this year. Zoya has two color story releases this month, Cafe Creams (a coffee themed collection!) and Metallic Dreams (a trio of velvety fall shimmers).

Here's a peek of what these queens look like...

Zoya Pink Palette Collection | Summer 2022

 *PR/ provided for review*

Hello hello!

Zoya's latest palette collection, the Pink Palette, recently launched for summer 2022. The Pink Palette is a coordinating collection of six pink polishes - five creams and a shimmery overlay. I recently received these to review along with some of Zoya's wide brushes. First, let's check out the polishes:

pink palette Zoya

◻︎ Angel: an iridescent overlay with specks of pink, periwinkle, and golden glitter

◻︎ Joanie: a soft tulip pink cream

◻︎ Maddy: a flamingo pink cream

◻︎ Shannon: a warm melon pink cream

◻︎ Kay: a bright paradise pink cream

◻︎ Gigi: a red azalea cream

These seemed like the perfect polishes to wear for National Donut Day this month! If you donut know, National Donut Day is the first Friday in June. I chose Maddy and Kay (accent nail) and topped it with Donut Even sprinkles.

Each of the Zoya polishes had great coverage in two coats and self-leveled beautifully. The wide brushes were so good, I highly recommend these! Zoya sometimes includes the brushes with purchase in their promotions, and they're worth it!

Expressie by Essie: Taxi Hopping Swatches & Review

*Purchased by me*

Hi!

I've made it a goal to share some nail polish swatches, reviews, and little slices of joy again. I don't have an elaborate coming-of-age story, so I'll just get into it!

Essie released a line of fast-dry polishes, Expressie. I have been loving those I've tried so far, and want to share Taxi Hopping (and some prickly pears) with you.

Give me all the mustards, and 'ugly' wasabi, chartreuse colors. I will wear them all. Taxi Hopping (which is by no means 'ugly' in my book), had a fantastic formula and did dry quickly! This was 2 easy coats. The Expressie line also boasts a wide, angled brush that makes polishing so nice and I do prefer this brush to Essie's other brushes.

Taxi Hopping is part of the core Expressie lineup, I purchased mine from Ulta.

I'd love to hear what colors you're into, that others might consider quirky. I know mustards and olives have been popular for a while now, and I'm still in love with them. There are so many great polishes and brands that have popped up and they're all doing special things!

Till next time, stay well!

Hello Again!

Testing...testing if this thing is still on?

I know it been a hot minute, ok year, since I've even drafted a post. I would love to get back to writing again and tinkering in the blogiverse again.

Not sure if you noticed but it appears that gold flakes are back again and I am SO here for it. There are so many beautiful options by Pahlish right now. In the meantime, I'm sharing a pretty spring look using Sally Hansen Water Lily and an oldie but goodie Sephora gold flake topper.

What are your thoughts about gold flakies coming back? Thanks for taking the time to read this, if you're out there I'd love to know it!
If you drop a comment so I know you're there, that would be wonderful. Have a great week, sweet friends!
