Press Release: Spring 2023 | Zoya Daydreaming Collection

Hi all! I thought I posted this, but it turns out I didn't.

Zoya's new-for-spring 2023 Daydreaming Collection has six fun and bright shimmers with a jelly-like base that builds to opaque in 2-3 coats. The shimmers in these polishes are so fun--most feature a pink-gold multi-color shimmer. While the colors might not be what you would typically expect for Spring, you have to admit they're very eye-catching!

The shades in this collection are: Terra, Kira, Marie, Yardley, Tink, and Sipsey.

I haven't worn all the shades yet, but I did get a quick photo of Terra in the sun. Terra is the warm-toned pinky purple. Zoya describes Terra as an amethyst purple with pink undertones in a micro-shimmer formula. This was 3 coats.

I personally plan to wear these throughout summer as well (plus Arizona spring is basically summer for many places!). The Daydreaming Spring 2023 collection is currently available on the Zoya website as a set or individually, and they are sure to have some promotions soon. Zoya also just launched a rewards program!

All Zoya nail polishes are 10 free, meaning free of harmful chemicals found in some polishes, and they are vegan-friendly. I find the wear time overall to be good and get at least 7 days (using quick dry topcoat).

Do you like the approach that Zoya took with this collection, or do you prefer pastels for spring polishes? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Zoya Toasty Swatches & Review - Winter/ Valentine's 2023

Hello!

I'm back with a look for Galentine's Day, Valentine's Day, or anyone who loves pinks, berries, and hearts!

This look features two colors from Zoya's 2023 Toasty Transitional collection*, Hattie and Elowen, then I included some heart glitter from an oldie, but lovely, Sinful Colors polish I've featured before.

The formula on the Zoya creams was wonderful. Both Hattie and Elowen were two coats for full coverage and had good self-leveling. The Sinful Colors glitter is old, and you do have to fish for the hearts, but it remains one of my favorite toppers despite that most of the tiny pink glitters have faded so it's basically just white, matte glitter now. This one is unavailable, but I hope every year for a re-release. Maybe someday!!

I'm already excited to wear the rest of the Toasty collection--Zoya ropes me in every year with their transitional and spring collections. I'll share more when I do wear them. Zoya's Toasty Collection is available on their site currently and they often run promotions, so you can likely snag a good deal on the polishes. Thanks for stopping by!

Getting Toasty with Zoya: 2023 Transitional Polish Collection

  *PR/provided for review*

Hello! Zoya just introduced a new collection to transition from winter and into early spring 2023 and I have the details below with a few sneak peeks.

The new Toasty collection includes six full coverage creams, ranging from cool and wintry to warm and toasty.

Press Release: Zoya Winter / Holiday 2022 - Hypnotic and Y2k

Guess who's back, back, back? Back again? Zoya's back, back, back. Tell a friend...

For Winter/Holiday 2022 we have two new trios that are strikingly different: Hypnotic and Y2k - and they're available now on Zoya.com!

Hypnotic Collection colors are:

  • Rosalind: a darkened sugar-plum purple. A duo chrome with a hint of blueberry that becomes more apparent in broad daylight. (Blue is pretty predominant in the bottle).
  • Metora: a deep boysenberry jam color, with a shimmering metallic finish, reminiscent of a full-bodied red wine.
  • Clarice: a dark emerald green metallic, with the appeal of a lush, dark forest full of mystery, and looks striking against any skin tone.

The deets on the Y2k Collection:

"Oops we did it again... brought you a new metallic trio! Let us remind you of the time low rise jeans, pop punk, and flip phones were the rage with these fun brights. Having these liquid holographic jelly formulas means we can leave the white correction fluid at home."

  • Sparrow: a bright cyan jelly shade. This liquid holographic makes for a nice splashy look that has that boom boom pow!
  • Malana: G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S!
(I did sing it while typing). A juicy bubblegum pink in a liquid holographic jelly formula.
  • Tamiah: a tart grape liquid jelly, infused with holographic sparkles, truly irreplaceable.

Okay, okay... so it took until I was typing this to remember what Zoya was talking about with the white correction fluid. It was (not a suitable) nail polish, but it was a way to pass the time in study hall.

So, it looks as though Zoya had a time with these descriptions and I love it. The Hypnotic shades are my favorite of the two, but y2k was iconic. I'd love to hear which of these you like best!
Away message: C U L8R!
