I'm back again for day 3 of the Spring Fling challenge presented by
Elena and
Kelly! The theme this time is Patterns of Fashion...and I get to show off a fun indie today. For today's theme, the pattern I chose is polka dots.
Check out this pretty polish named
Marmolada from
Elevation Polish. This is a dusty blue jelly with light blue, silver and purple circle glitter. This was two coats over two coats of Essie's
Who Is the Boss, a pale dusty blue cream that was from the 2012 Wedding Collection. I decided that Marmolada may have had more depth if I had just used 2 or 3 coats on its own...so that is my plan for the next time I wear it.

I definitely have to give a shout out to my Polished At Heart other half, Jackie, for pouncing on this color for me so I could add it to my collection. You can only buy Elevation Polish on their
website, and they sell out fast so pay attention to the restock dates!

So that was my representation for day 3 of the challenge. I have no idea what's in store for tomorrow but I'm excited to see it! I'm off to check out the other Spring Fling posts and you should too! :)
Marmolada... oh now I am drooling. This is spectacular! Knowing how light Who's the Boss is this does have a definitely smoky base. Possible jelly gradient candidate? Stunning sista Hayley! Thanks, Jax, for funding this awesome mani!
ReplyDeleteThank you doll! It is really saturated! More so then her website represents. I was so surprised after the second coat that you could only see the base polish around the edges and it looked sloppy. So definitely a jelly you can wear alone. Jackie and I have a good working relationship! She can pounce and then I mail her the check! :D
DeleteSeriously gorgeous colour ! And love the fun indie too, the glitters make such cool polka dots ♥ Gorgeous as always !
ReplyDeleteThank you! You already know how I feel about yours! :)
DeleteLovely. this looks really nice, and I like the shout out you gave to your fellow blogger :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I cannot believe each of us had a completely different pattern! I was sure someone else would have picked something similar.
DeleteI love this! I always want to try elevation polish but I miss the restock every time!
ReplyDeleteRight?! It took over 4 months for me to get my paws on Marmolada. Just be patient, she posts specific info about the restock of each color....or have a polished partner in crime grab one!
